We had a match today against Brentwood Netball Club. In the first quarter we played really well and scored some good goals, which gave us a strong start. Our defending and attacking were good, but we did make a few silly mistakes.

In the second quarter we stepped it up and played some great netball, getting interceptions and scoring more goals. By half time we were leading 14–8. We kept playing steadily with strong passes and some great shots. Our defence was also really strong and we got lots of turnovers.

Even though we still made a few small mistakes like dropped balls and contact, it didn’t stop us. We finished the game with a 24–16 win. It was a great game played by Essex Open.
