The Essex Open 7th Team had a fantastic and hard-fought season last year, finishing 3rd in Division 11 and securing a well-earned promotion. Their success was the result of relentless hard work, determination, and a strong sense of team spirit that carried them through close matches and challenging moments. Week in and week out, the squad showed growth, resilience, and a willingness to learn—laying the groundwork for long-term development and success.

This season, the team is looking to build on that achievement with renewed focus and fresh momentum. Several new players have joined the squad, bringing valuable skills, energy, and different playing styles that have already started to enhance team dynamics. The combination of returning players and new talent has created a positive, competitive atmosphere in training, with everyone pushing each other to improve and step up their game.
