Final Score: Essex Open G 88 – 9 Manor Met F
Saturday’s match was a fantastic team performance, with the girls securing a
convincing 88–9 victory. Despite the rainy conditions, the team showed great
determination, working hard in both attack and defence throughout the game.
We got off to a strong start in the first quarter, taking a 21–1 lead. Our defence put
the opposition under pressure, while the attack worked well together to create
scoring opportunities. We carried this momentum into the second quarter,
continuing to dominate the game and limiting the opposition to just two goals.
The third and fourth quarters were our strongest in attack, with the team scoring an
impressive 23 and 24 goals in each quarter. The girls maintained their focus,
moved the ball confidently and worked brilliantly as a team.
Overall, it was an excellent performance from the whole team, with everyone
contribution. A special congratulations to Trishana Kajanthan, our Player of the
Match, for her outstanding shooting performance.
Well done to all the girls.
