Teams

At Essex Open, we’re proud to provide opportunities for players of all ages and abilities, creating a thriving and supportive netball community. From the very first steps into the game, right through to competing at the highest level, we have a team for everyone.

Development Team (School Years 3–4)
Our youngest players begin their journey here, building core skills, confidence, and a love for the game in a fun and supportive environment.

Junior Squads (U10s – U15s)
As players progress, they join our Junior squads where they develop their match play, teamwork, and competitive experience. Juniors represent Essex Open at festivals, leagues, and tournaments, building strong foundations for the future.

Senior Squads (U16s – Adults)
For older players, Essex Open offers a full pathway from youth to adult netball. We have seven Senior teams catering to a wide range of abilities:

Senior 1st Team – our elite squad, competing at the highest level and representing the pinnacle of Essex Open talent.

Senior Teams 2–7 – competitive and social squads, offering opportunities for players of all standards to train, play, and enjoy netball at the right level for them.

With teams spanning from school year 3 right through to adult players, Essex Open Netball Club truly has something for everyone. Our aim is to nurture talent, promote teamwork, and build a welcoming community where every player can find their place on court.
