The Essex Open Under 14 Blues are through to the next round of the Sisters in Sport Cup after an incredible first-round battle against Hawkstone!

From the first whistle to the final buzzer, it was a real neck-and-neck contest, with both teams fighting hard for every ball. The girls showed outstanding determination, teamwork and resilience under pressure, keeping their composure when it mattered most.

The final score? Essex Open 32–23 Hawkstone!

What a performance from every single player. The girls dug deep, supported one another and showed exactly what they are capable of in a challenging, competitive game. To come away with a nine-goal victory in such a closely fought match is something to be incredibly proud of.

A special mention goes to Lily, who was named Coach’s Player of the Game! Lily was fantastic throughout, and this recognition is thoroughly deserved.

As a coach, I couldn’t be prouder of this group. They continue to work hard, grow together and rise to every challenge put in front of them.
