Essex Open A  92 New Cambell Red 34

This was a routine victory for Essex as they totally dominated their clash with New Cambell Red. The game was effectively over within the first 10 minutes as Essex raced into a 9-0 lead. Essex dominated the centre court with Emma Thorogood, Johanne Linehan and Rebecca Wilks feeding Rochelle Reynolds- Blanche and Maddie Oshodi in the circle who took advantage of to score at regular intervals. Essex continued to pile on the goals and at the end of the quarter led 26-7. It was a similar story in the second quarter as Reynolds-Blanche and Oshodi continued to score freely, adding a further 22 goals. Defensively Emma Shaw and Renee Hurley were dominating and making goals hard to come by. At half time Essex led 48-14. The second half followed a similar pattern and Essex run out convincing 92-34 victory.
