What is the Development Team:

We will be focusing on building fundamental skills, game sense, and confidence in a fun and engaging environment.
Key elements of the training are:

Skill Development – Focus on foundational skills like passing, catching, footwork (including the “ICE CREAM” drill for pivoting), and shooting, as well as defensive and attacking strategies.

Game sense – Developing an understanding of the rules, positions, and basic game strategies through drills and modified games.

Fun and Engagement – Creating a positive and enjoyable environment where kids can learn, make friends, and develop a love for netball.

Community and Social Interaction – Netball programs often emphasize the importance of teamwork, social interaction, and building friendships, creating a sense of belonging beyond the court.
